Modes of Transmission
There are several ways by which animals can transmit infectious agents to humans, including: *
Direct Contact: Contact with infected animals, their saliva, blood, or bodily fluids. *
Indirect Contact: Contact with contaminated surfaces, soil, or water. *
Vector-Borne Transmission: Through the bites of insects or other animals that carry the disease. *
Foodborne Transmission: Consumption of contaminated food or water products of animal origin. *
Airborne Transmission: Inhalation of airborne droplets or aerosols from infected animals.
